1. Who you are buying from

EndFrame and Script Cutter are plugins for Adobe After Effects and Premiere Pro, referred to here as "the software", "we" and "us".

Purchases are processed by Paddle, which is the merchant of record. Paddle is the seller for the transaction, handles payment and tax, and its own buyer terms apply to the purchase alongside these terms, which cover your use of the software.

2. The trial

EndFrame runs free for 7 days from the first time you open it, with both the After Effects and Premiere Pro halves unlocked. No payment details are required. When the trial ends the panel still opens, but the actions that render, create or export stop until a licence key is entered.

3. Your licence

When you buy, you get a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the software for as long as your subscription is active.

A licence covers a set number of editors. Individual plans cover one editor, who may install on the machines they personally work on. Studio covers up to five editors. Broadcaster covers every editor at one facility.

Because activation works offline, the panel cannot count how many people are using a key, so the seat limit is an honest agreement rather than something the software enforces. If your team outgrows its plan, tell us and we will move you up; we will not go looking.

EndFrame is sold in two halves, and a licence key unlocks only what it was bought for:

  • An After Effects licence unlocks the After Effects side only.
  • A Premiere Pro licence unlocks the Premiere Pro side only.
  • A both halves licence unlocks both.

If you use a key in the half it does not cover, the panel will tell you which half you are missing.

4. What you may not do

  • Share, resell, sublicense or publish your licence key.
  • Remove or work around the licensing, or distribute a modified copy that does.
  • Redistribute the software, whether or not you charge for it.

We may deactivate a licence found to be shared publicly or resold.

5. Subscription and cancellation

Subscriptions renew automatically at the interval you chose until cancelled. You can cancel at any time through the link in your Paddle receipt or by emailing us. Cancelling stops future renewals; you keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for.

If we change the price, existing subscribers will be told before it applies to them.

6. What the software needs

The software requires After Effects and/or Premiere Pro 2022 or later, and currently runs on macOS only. Windows support is in testing and not released. EndFrame works with your own endboard template, which means some initial setup to tell it which layer in your template holds the title, date and artwork.

We are not affiliated with Adobe. Adobe, After Effects and Premiere Pro are trademarks of Adobe Inc.

7. Setup, updates and support

Studio and Broadcaster plans include configuring EndFrame for your own endboard template and delivery convention. Send us the template and a sample schedule and we will set it up and confirm it renders correctly before you rely on it.

Updates are included while your subscription is active. Support is by email, and we aim to answer within two working days. We may change or remove features over time, though we will not remove something central without telling subscribers first.

8. Your work is yours

You keep all rights to everything you produce with the software. We claim nothing over your projects, renders or delivered files. See the Privacy Policy — the software does not send them anywhere.

9. Warranty and liability

The software is provided as is. We work hard to make it correct, and it is designed to flag rather than guess when it is unsure, but you remain responsible for checking your own broadcast deliverables before they go to air. Automated output should be reviewed like any other part of your delivery process.

To the extent the law allows, our liability for any claim relating to the software is limited to what you paid us for it in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot legally be limited.

10. Ending the licence

You can stop using the software and cancel at any time. We may end a licence if these terms are broken, in which case we will normally tell you first and give you a chance to put it right, unless the breach is serious.

11. Changes to these terms

If these terms change, the date at the top changes with them, and existing subscribers will be emailed about any significant change.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Nothing here affects consumer rights you have where you live that cannot be set aside by agreement.
